Stack’s Bowers and Three Notes Worth More Than a Million at the Whitman Baltimore Spring Expo

At the upcoming Official Auction of the Whitman Spring Expo in Baltimore, among the outstanding offerings from Stack’s Bowers Galleries will be three notes which are predicted to bring prices in excess of $1.5 to $2 million.

Coin Week reports on the 1869 $500 and $1,000 “Rainbow” notes, and the King of the Silver Certificates, the 1891 $1,000 “Marcy” note:
