U.S. Mint and Bureau of Engraving and Printing Among Exhibitors at Whitman Coin & Collectibles Spring Expo

Free Baltimore Event Will Be Largest in 43-Year History

North America’s premiere coin expo has been bringing the collecting world together for 43 years, but when this year’s Whitman Coin & Collectibles Baltimore Spring Expo gets underway, March 26-29, 2015, it will be the largest in history.

Hosted by the Baltimore Convention Center, in Halls F & G, the Whitman Expo will include special exhibits by both the U.S. Mint (Booth 1409) and the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing (Booth 1415). The Expo also includes over 1,400 registered dealers in more than 400 booths, covering all aspects of coin, currency, medal and token collecting. Admission is free to the public.

One of the most notable collections of colonial, American, confederated state and related coinage will cross the auction block at the Expo’s Official Auction by Stack’s Bowers Galleries. Lot viewing for The Henry P. Kendall Foundation Collection and the hundreds of additional auction lots will be held in Room 345 beginning Tuesday, March 24 at 9am, with auction sessions getting underway at 11am on Thursday, March 26. Visit StacksBowers.com for latest details.
