Auctions, educational presentations, club meetings, and exploring dealers’ inventories will keep you busy throughout the Whitman Baltimore Expo, June 20-23, 2013! Attendees have four days to conduct business with some of the most important dealers from around the world.

The Stack’s Bowers Galleries auction of rare coins and paper money kicks off the Expo. This premiere auction will present thousands of U.S., world, and ancient coins and paper money.

The Presidential Coin & Antique Company will hold its annual sale. Most major areas of exonumia will be well represented. The sale will start at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 22, in room 331.

Attend a hobby club meeting and make some new friends. This presentation is for anyone who’s inherited a collection (or hoard) of old coins. Deisher will show you how to identify what you own, how to create an inventory, how to pick out extra-valuable coins, how to value a large estate, and other important and valuable lessons.

Anyone interested in ancient coins will want to attend “Introduction to Medieval Coins: From the Fall of Rome to the Renaissance” with Mike Markowitz at 3 p.m., Saturday, in room 330.
